NCL Property Inventories

The Inventory

The Inventory

The inventory is a comprehensive description of the fabric and contents of the furnishings, fixtures, and fittings of a property, including a full description of the condition of walls, ceilings, floors and carpets, paintwork, light fittings, woodwork, windows, radiators, in fact, every part of the property.

The inventory is very important as it is the document that is used at the end of the tenancy and it is referred to in order to create the final check out report. If the inventory report lacks detail and accuracy then the check out will not be able to identify any potential damage that has occurred or the condition of the property at the start of the tenancy. If there is a dispute at the end of the tenancy both the inventory and the check out report will be used during the adjudication process and so you need to make sure they both are detailed and of a very high standard.

Our reports are clearly set out and logically constructed, we use no industry jargon or difficult to understand abbreviations like many of our competitors. We also photograph any damage or maintenance issues and any unusual items, these photographs will be embedded directly into the final inventory report Still not sure you need an inventory?
